About Green Bay Improv Festival 2021

The Green Bay Improv Festival returns for the 9th time in 2021. This is an in-person festival to be held October 15th & 16th in De Pere, WI.


The venue (The Green Room) is located in downtown De Pere, a suburb of Green Bay, WI known for its local businesses and arts community. The Green Room is Northeast Wisconsin's only dedicated improv focused performance venue and is home to ComedyCity De Pere. De Pere is located on the outskirts of Green Bay, just a quick 12-minute (6.5 mile) ride from Austin Straubel International Airport.


We will have twelve performance spots open for the 2021 festival. Submission window will open June 1st and will remain open until August 1st. As we all rebound from the previous year, there will be no registration fee to submit to this year's festival. Troupe selection announcements will begin on August 16th.


The Green Bay Improv Festival is a performer-focused festival produced by performers. We are focused on ensuring that our performers have a good show and a great time while visiting. Our goal is to provide the very best performer experience. We strive to foster an environment where diversity is celebrated, performers are empowered, everyone feels welcomed, and can be creative as their authentic selves. Performers and groups of all diverse backgrounds, sizes, and performance styles are encouraged to submit.
