Palmdale is less than an hour from Burbank International Airport, and just a little over an hour from LAX. There are free shuttles that will take you from the airport to the Metrolink station if you need to travel by rail.

There will be snacks and beverages in the dressing rooms/green room during your stay. Festival Information

How much stage time will performers receive?

Each troupe will receive a maximum of 25 minutes on stage. We generally give troupes 2 performance slots, or include them in a final open jam session.


What is the range of shows and styles the festival is seeking?

Shortform, Longform, Musical, and everything in-between is welcome. Our audiences are usually more family-friendly, however, the evening shows can be a bit more PG-13 or suggestive.


What is the local improv scene like?

There are a few local improv troupes who have performed at various clubs and venues for years, there is also a thriving improv community and class at the local community college.


What are the selection criteria for this festival?
