there’s a couple hotels close by, and other hotels nearby by train. Plus plenty of great airbnb options.

The Rockwell is conveniently located right on both major bus lines & the red line train. Uber/lyft is also easy & inexpensive if staying nearby.


What dining options are available?

Davis Square has a ton of great restaurants, cafes & quick grab & go options literally steps away.


What local events or attractions are available?

Almost anything that you’re interested in, there’s something in Boston. Lots of local historical sites, museums, tours. Foodie tours. Cultural centers like the North End. Cool museums like the Science Museum, Aquarium, Isabella Gardner, the ICA & more. November in Boston is a foliage fan fav, lots of leaf peeping, apple picking etc.

the show slots are up to 30 minutes


What is the range of shows and styles the festival is seeking?

All of it! We welcome a variety of styles.
Our theater is a long form theater, ranging in formats,
and also we want to see what you bring to the stage
what is your best vibe??


What is the local improv scene like?

Mid-size city that’s still building back after covid.
We have a handful of established improv theaters,
although recently lost ImprovBoston unfortunately.
There’s a growing indie scene in Boston that’s been
exciting to watch!


What are the festival's goals?

To showcase Bostons talent, as well as bring in
styles that other cities have to offer! And provide
a place in Boston for improvisers to come together
and make connections with each other all over
the country


What are the selection criteria for this festival?

Style, Experience, Quality and Consistency of quality


What unique improv experiences will performers gain?

An opportunity to catch a little of the Boston vibe
and bring that home, and vice versa - leave us
a little better than how you found us!
