About Auckland Improv Festival 2020

The biggest international Improv event in Auckland will take place in April 2020. The festival will bring dozens of New Zealand’s best Improv performers and international guests to Auckland for a week’s worth of workshops, masterclasses, shows and social events.

The festival will take place in Auckland between April 17th and April 26th 2020. During those 10 days, we will have 20+ shows, 10+ workshops, masterclasses and social events for our participants.

Hosted at the brand new Covert Theatre’s venue in Ponsonby, heart of Auckland City, the festival is directed by Matias Avaca and produced by Wade Jackson.
