About Minneapolis Musical Improv Festival 2020
The first ever Minneapolis Musical Improv Festival is two days of shows and workshops celebrating the art of improvised music. This special art form brings together comedy, music and song into joyful once-in-a-lifetime shows.
MMIF is organized by Hannah Wydeven, Nora Coyle, Lizzie Gardner, Shelby Schroeder and Taj Ruler. After attending dozens of festivals around the country, they decided to make a home for Musical Improv right here in the Twin Cities.
Our first ever festival features Laura Hall, improv comedy musician, teacher and accompanist you may know from Whose Line is it Anyway? Laura will be accompanying headlining teams in the fest.
As well as headlining performer Jill Bernard in Drum Machine.
