About Auckland Improv Festival 2023

The biggest international Improv event in Auckland (New Zealand) will take place in April 2023. The festival will bring dozens of New Zealand’s best Improv performers and international guests to Auckland for a week’s worth of workshops, masterclasses, shows and social events.

The festival will take place in Auckland between April 11th and April 16th 2023. During those days, we will have 15+ shows, 10+ workshops, masterclasses and social events for our participants.

Hosted at the brand new Covert Theatre’s venue in Ponsonby, heart of Auckland City, the festival is directed by Matias Avaca and produced by Wade Jackson.
