Charlie's Info
Originally from west-central Wisconsin, Charlie studied, performed and taught improv in Chicago for fifteen years before relocating in Los Angeles in 2016. He studied with the Player's Workshop, iO and Second City (where he also understudied the Touring Company).He began teaching for the iO Training Center in Chicago in 2005 and continues instructing today at iOWest in Hollywood. He was also an adjunct professor at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL for three years, developing and teaching an improv course for the Radio, TV and Film Department. He's been coaching improv ensembles and creating new improv shows for over ten years.
He wrote "The Raven & The Messenger" a dark comedy musical at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago and most recently works as an executive assistant for MADtv on the CW.
