Eric's Info

Eric is born and raised in Omaha, NE. He knew at a pretty young age that he was interested in theatre. He graduated from Omaha North High School in 2002 and then attended Wayne State College and Majored in Theatre. He then also studied Theatre Technology at Metropolitan Community College and apprenticed at the Omaha Community Playhouse and still tries to get into as much theatre as his schedule allows.

In February, when Dylan Rohde, a college friend of Eric, came back to Nebraska with the idea of starting an improv theatre, Eric was one of the first people to sign up. He has always loved shows like Whose Line is it Anyway? and loves any kind of performing. He is relatively new to improv only studying it for a day or two in theatre classes in high school but is quickly learning. He also has been introduced to a lot of the improv and stand-up community in Omaha through the backline.

Other stage credits for Eric are working 3 summers with the Brownville Village Theatre, a professional repertory company, working with the Omaha Community Playhouse, both as a performer and backstage crew. He as also worked with the Blue Barn theatre as a stage manager and performer, Blue Barn’s Witching Hour, Skullduggery Theatre among others.
