John's Info

In 2016, I traveled over 17,162 miles to teach improv around the US.
I've studied improv at Second City, Improv Olympic (now iO), and Annoyance. I've coached since 2006, and run independent workshops aimed at helping you get past any individual improv problems you might have.
I worked at iO for 9 years, where I estimate I've seen over 5,000 improv shows. My team, Wing Night, has been together for 11 years, and performed at the Chicago Improv Festival. I've also been performing around the country with the Improv Duo Legends Of Public Access.

I am proud to have coached 4 different teams that have been in the Chicago Improv Festival, and I currently, coach "Hush". Most recently, I taught workshops in Monterrey, California; Prescott, Arizona; Phoenix, Arizona; the San Diego Improv Festival; and as part of the first San Jose Improv Festival.
