Kristy started her career in Chicago, where she trained, performed and taught improvisational comedy at legendary improv venues such as the Annoyance Theater, The Playground, The IO Theater, and The Second City National Touring Company. She’s appeared at the Kansas City Improv Festival, the Big Stinkin’ Improv Festival in Texas, the Chicago Improv Festival and Amsterdam’s hit improv venue, Boom Chicago. At IO West, she improvised with Foster Kids and IO Rep and ImMEDIAte Improv with the Furious Theater at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Kristy’s trained with The Marymount College London Program, The La Jolla Playhouse Conservatory and received her BFA in Acting from Ohio University. Television credits include ER, Early Edition, Castle Rock, Those Who Kill & One Dollar, as well as the film credits, On Becoming Blonde, Liar’s Club, Sweet Girl, The True Adventures of Wolfboy and the improvised film, Crushed. Co-founder and Director of Education at the Arcade Comedy Theater in Pittsburgh from 2011-21. Michigan is her home where she performs in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area with her husband of 20+ years Jethro Nolen in the comedy duo, Nolen & Nolen. Go Blue!
