Joy's Info
Joy has been improvising for over 20 years on both coasts and now finds herself in the country's high plains, making her home in Denver. While she got her start in short form, she found her place in narrative long-form and lives to create grounded characters and stories that leave an audience satisfied.Joy trained at Improv Asylum (Boston) and BATS (San Francisco). She's been a guest artist with ImprovBoston and Un-Scripted Theater Company, and was the founder of Pure Moxie Players, a Bay Area home for narrative improv. Joy is the former Education Director at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse and is currently the Artistic Director and Co-Owner of What If Theatre.
