Liam Brennan is an improviser, actor and teacher who has been performing and teaching improv for nearly 10 years. He has found success on the London comedy circuit playing with groups such as the witty and surreal ‘The Science of Living Things’, Horror-Comedy collective ‘Fright Club’ and sketch group ‘The Coaterie”.Trained in Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent, Liam gained a First Class Masters in Stand-Up Comedy while also performing with the University’s resident Improv group founded by the Noise Next Door. Since then he has studied improv at various schools with teachers from The Upright Citizens Brigade, iO, Hoopla, The Free Association, The Nursery, Monkey Toast and The Spontaneity Shop.
Liam currently teaches and performs for Hoopla Impro: the UK's original and biggest improvisation school and London’s first ever improv theatre. He also teaches in the corporate environment, working with clients including Microsoft, ASOS and Google. Coming from an educational background as a High Level Teaching Assistant and Cover Teacher, Liam always makes sure to create an engaging and fun atmosphere during his workshops.
