"If you haven’t had a chance to workshop with Liz Hutchman’s, “Fun Bags!” you have been missing out on something really special. The “Fun Bags!” approach is a great learning experience. Each of the bags is filled with slips of paper that describe people, places, things, and situations. Having just one bag to work from allowed me the chance to, “Just do it” without having to over think things. It allowed me to practice, “Starting in the middle.” Liz is really adept at pushing folks to explore having different dimensions, characters, and environments. Having two or more assigned, “Fun Bags!” items was a great challenge because it pushed me to immediately start doing something that was outside of what might be easily imagined.
