Oliver's Info
Oliver Austin Berger was once told by his 3rd-grade teacher that “Being a class clown would never get you anywhere!” Since then Oliver has studied Musical Theater at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts, Carnegie Mellon, CAP-21 Tish and Columbia College Chicago as well as being a graduate of the Comedy Studies Program through The Second City Chicago.He then went on to play with the ComedySportz Chicago Houses team “Caliber” & “Chimera”, Tour the United States performing with “Mission IMPROVable” and “Land Of Smiles”, and played Chandler Bing in the hit parody musical “Friends: The One Where They Sing!”
Falling in love with Musical Improv, Oliver went on to perform in 5 seasons of MCL CHICAGO’s “Music Improv Night” before Coaching/Directing “RHYME AND PUNISHMINT” through 4 Improv Fests and Their signature show “3 Blocks From Broadway”.
Oliver can be seen performing Improvised Musicals for Children in “Storytown Improv” or in his current project “Private Dicks: The Improvised Noir Musical”.
