Sam Super loves this stuff. For over a decade, he's been a professional director, improvisor and teacher, specializing in creating dynamic, focused and accessible performances. Some his most impactful experience includes:Teaching: Sam is a veteran faculty member in The Second City Training Center's Improvisation, Advanced Improvisation and Wellness Programs. He has brought his innovative workshops to various US and international festivals, and is an expert corporate workshop designer and facilitator.
Directing: A graduate of the year-long Second City Directing Program, Sam has previously served as the Director/Associate Director of ComedySportz Chicago, curating and training their Professional Ensemble. He has directed and coached dozens of independent improv teams, sketch shows and theatrical productions.
Performing: Sam's performance resume is vast and varied. He's been a core ensemble member of Baby Wants Candy, ComedySportz Chicago and The Hot Karl, as well as iO's Revolver, Chaos Theory and The Deltones. Sam has hit the stage across the globe, first with The Second City Theatricals on 5 cruise ship contracts, and then for two years as a part of the legendary Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
