Karen's Info
A proud native of Buffalo, NY, Karen performed for Chicago’s The Second City for more than three years. While touring the US and abroad with The Second City National Touring Company, Karen performed in The Second City’s first-ever USO Tour, entertaining American troops in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. She was also a resident cast member in The Best of Second City at The Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas for over a year. Her one woman show, Her Potential, was a two-time Del Close Award nominee for Best Scripted Show at iO West. Karen was also honored with iO West’s Del Close Award for Teacher of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. Karen now performs at iO West with LA’s longest running House Harold Team, King Ten. Karen coached the iO West Main Stage Harold Teams, Local 132 and Bandit, and currently coaches the 2014 iO West Harold Team of the Year, Heyday. Karen won the 2015 Del Award for Coach of the Year at iO West.Currently Teaching at: iO West
