Endgames Improv
About Endgames Improv
Endgames Improv was founded in 2010 by Peter Kim, Max McCal and Chris Blair. Endgames produces shows six nights a week at Stage Werx Theater in the San Francisco Mission neighborhood. Here, audiences can watch mainly long form improv, with occasional sketch comedy, musical improv, character shows, and short-form improvised games. Endgames has an improv jam every week, which anyone can participate in.
Under the current direction of Max McCal and Scott Meyer, Endgames Improv teaches grounded, long form improv that encourages performers to find humor through their characters’ relationships and the world they build together. The curriculum is taught over 5 courses, which develop the basic agreement, scene work, and character skills necessary to perform a Harold. Each class performs a graduation show after 7 weeks of training. Drop in classes are available to anyone at all, every Saturday.
Out-of-town teachers regularly bring workshops to Endgames Training Centers to further advance students’ improvisational instincts. Corporate workshops are also available. For more information, please visit endgamesimprov.com.
Endgames improv is a California LLC, privately owned and operated for the purpose of entertaining audiences, educating improvisers, and fostering a community of performers.
