Wine Moms was formed in the Fall of 2015 at a party for the Flyspace improv team. Nichole consumed copious amounts of wine and was given the nickname "Wine Mom." A few minutes later, the Wine Moms improv team was formed.Wine Moms' style is the Pretty Flower, a monoscene with tagouts.
Wine Moms' first show was January 30, 2016, where they defeated the 13x OC Cagematch Champions Spanish Rice. They are the first ever all-female team to win. Since then, Wine Moms has performed regularly at Spectacles. Wine Moms has also performed at iO West, the Pack Theater, the San Diego Improv Festival, the Antelope Valley Improv Festival, and the OC Improv Festival.
Troupe members have studied at the Washington Improv Theater, iO West, and Spectacles Improv Engine.
