About Sinister M.O.

Sinister M.O. is a San Diego-based improv troupe featuring an experienced cast from diverse backgrounds, many of whom perform regularly with house ensembles at theaters throughout San Diego. Cast members have also trained at various theaters throughout Southern California, including Finest City Improv, Old Town Improv Company (formerly Sidestage Improv), the Local Improv, the Pack Theater, Second City Hollywood, and iO West.

Sinister M.O. specializes in two forms: their version of the Bat, or improv in the dark. It features quick transitions and encourages the audience to use their imaginations to visualize scenes, resulting in unique content that would be impossible to recreate in the light. So grab a seat, close your eyes, and try and keep up!

Beginning fall of 2017, Sinister M.O. is debuting The Improvised Seance, a truly spoopy (yes, spoopy) summoning of a ghost whose life and after-life are then explored in hilarious, fast scenes. They first performed the improvised Seance at GhostFest in 2017.
