About Planet Ant Home Team

Founded in 2000 by Margaret Edwartowski, Joshua Funk, and Nancy Hayden, The Planet Ant Improv Colony Home Team is the resident team at Planet Ant Theatre. With 40+ members, they are a staple of the Detroit improv scene, performing longform every Monday at the Ant Hall in Hamtramck.

What started as a weekly show in a 50 seat house, has grown to a full season of original comedy, three nights of improv in two spaces, an annual improv competition, and a fully developed training center.
