About ++good

Shyla Ray is the Director of Station Theater. She has taught improv classes, camps, and corporate and festival workshops since 2009 and currently teaches improv with Station Theater and Rice University.  Shyla has performed and taught on tour across the country, at over a dozen major national festivals, opened for Tig Notaro, Aphasia, The UCB Allstars, The Tim & Micah Project, The Chris Gethard Show, and performed in shows with Jason Chin, Jill Bernard, Matt Donnelly, Mark Sutton, and Joe Bill.

Todd Boring's love of theatre and improv had humble beginnings with his role as a bloodthirsty pig in a drama class in high school.  He worked and performed with Houston's AD Players for 4 years in the late 1990s, co-creating the group, Mission Improv - a short form group.  After a short stint with Vagabondage, Todd co-founded Massive Improv, Houston's first long-form improv troupe, with MacArthur Antigua and Luis Gonzales in 2004.  Todd performed and taught classes with Massive for the next few years.  Highlights included shows at the Del Close Marathon in New York City, The Playground Theater in Chicago, and multiple shows at the Hideout in Austin.  Before leaving Massive in 2008, Todd produced the Houston Improv Smorgasbord, a precursor to the Houston Improv Festival. After a 4 year hiatus from improv, Todd launched the first Houston Improv Festival in 2012.
