Discovery over Invention

This workshop is designed to strengthen your trust in the moment, yourself and your partner. There are infinite possibilities in Improvisational Theater, from the most absurd comedy to the richest drama. In any case, Domeka plays toward authentic discovery over invention, never creating something that isn’t begging to exist. In the moment there is magic, what’s beyond is tomorrow’s story. In this workshop, we will explore true discovery in improvisational performance. We will work toward relaxed readiness and invested listening in a way that keeps us truly connected to the moment, to our partners and to the story that wants to be told.
