Walk the walk

As improvisers, we repeatedly hear that "there are no mistakes in improv, only gifts." We know this, we teach this but do we live this? This workshop will help you buy in to the reality rather than the theory of this old stand by. Exercises and group play will help you to start viewing every move, every occurrence as an opportunity, so that you don't just talk the talk, but walk the walk. Learn to eliminate the split second of judgment when things don't go as YOU would have planned, to honestly view your teammates and fellow players as the artists, geniuses and poets that they are. Change "I have to fix this" to "I get to play with this!" This class is great for improvisers with experience, performers, troupe leaders and coaches. This class will have you up on your feet playing and practicing what we preach. Get our of your head and out of your own way. Remember what it is to play again! A safe and silly atmosphere is promised.
