From Performer to Teacher

Teaching improv is as much of an art as performing improv on stage. Many times, performers have no choice but to step into the role of coaching and teaching with little preparation or knowledge of approaching this new challenge. In this workshop, Lauren will discuss teaching techniques, classroom management, and curriculum development. There will be a mix of interactive exercises and Q and A session. Lauren has been teaching and presenting in a variety of classroom, academic, and improv situations and has a background in behavior management. Currently, Lauren is the Artistic Director and a teacher with AdLib Theatre Company in Winter Park, Florida.
