Visceral Stagecraft
Bring your environment to life and get active! Improv is theatre, first and foremost. In scripted work, the audience has the benefit of actually seeing the set and props actors are using. These elements play an important role in drawing viewers in and making them feel part of the world. In improvised work, the audience can only see the mimed props and environment if you use them! In this workshop, you'll learn better object work, stage blocking, and ways to use action for subtext to actually communicate more than your words ever could.
