Playing with Heart Playing With Heart workshop focuses on connecting and/or reconnecting with your ensemble members. You will be guided through exercises that will foster collaboration by taking a journey into a world of full of emotions and emotional stakes to create strong, grounded characters that naturally lead to compelling scene work. This workshop is designed to enhance your communication skills and find the joy in your improv by allowing yourself to be vulnerable with those you work with. By drawing strong, meaningful connections from your scene partner it will naturally take your scene work to the next level. Valuable communication, creative and relationship building skills are packed into this fun and interactive 2-hour workshop taught by Internationally Acclaimed Teacher and Improvisor Betse Green. She brings her 18+ years of experience as a Certified Improv Educator and Architect. By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away knowing: How to make supportive, creative choices that encourage communication Exercises to immediately connect to your scene partner The value and purpose of getting to know and understand your ensemble members in order to create strong, compelling characters and scenes
