"Oh What Callbacks!"
Most improvisers have likely heard feedback that a particular move was a great "second" or "third" beat move without, perhaps, understanding what that means, or, even more importantly, how to do it again. In this workshop, participants will learn what second beats and third beats are, and what separates them from other types of scenes and moves, as well as the three primary methods for developing second beat ideas, and how to turn those ideas into actionable moves. Whether you're doing "just a Harold", a montage, or a deconstruction, improvisers of all forms can benefit in knowing how to be able to make their latter sets more functional and fun.
