Improvised Dramaturgy

This workshop is aimed to every improviser wanting to improve their narrative skills. As improvisers, we are more than just actors; we are also writers and directors of an unique, original play. In this workshop we will work on different narrative structures and different alternatives to build theatrical characters and reaching more complex improvised stories. DRAMATICAL STRUCTURES • Introduction (Exposition). Accurate and precise platform development. • Climax. Posstive use of conflict and resolution delay. • Resolution. Strenght, synthesis and definition of a dramatic ending. • Advancing and expandig. • Pace of the story INTRODUCTION • Plattform. • Characters, relationships, objectives and places. • Decision, direction and desire. PLOT • Triggering event • Conflict. • Voluntary delay of conflict resolution. • Enjoying the scene. RESOLUTION • Conflict resolution. • Loose ends. • Final stitch.
