Performer's Toolkit

What do you think about when you’re on the back-line, or off in the wings, or just about to enter a scene? Have you ever found yourself on stage or in class wondering what to do next? Do you want to feel more confident in your ability to play in any situation? This workshop aims to provide you - the performer - with an extensive set of tools that will help you improvise more powerfully on stage. After more than a decade of performing around the country these are the same techniques that I focus on in every single show and even during auditions. Through a lot of short intensive scene work, a few focused exercises, and some personal feedback on how you play, you’ll leave this class with an arsenal of new ideas and specific tools that will help you to: initiate boldly, improvise playfully, and keep yourself (and your show) on track. For intermediate to advanced players.
