Improv Magic

What do David Copperfield, the Fairy Godmother and Gandalf have in common? On top of the obvious choice, magic, is the fact that the magic happens around them. Be it due to ingenious rigging, optical illusions, waving of a wand or a staff or mumbling ancient spells - it’s the alteration of things around the magician that makes the magic! In this workshop we roll up our sleeves and hit the core of magic, support! We work on initiating and supporting different magical curiosities on stage, including summoning and creation, mind and body control and time & space travel. Even though your style or format would not include magic tricks, practicing bold initiations, listening and trust brings a lot of benefits to your improv. Also, magic is a lot of fun! NOTE: This is not a class about stage magic as an art form, this is an improv class.
