Flashform Intensive: The Whole Shabaang!

This workshop is the full PDC Inc Training Grounds program condensed into a 2 day workshop that provides students with numerous performance ready forms for doing Flashform for the pubic. Designed for full troupes, teams or theaters looking to install a new performance style or or simply enrich their approaches to long form. Multiple instructors are available upon request, as well as performances by the PDC TourCo. Each workshop participant should have at least 1 year live long form performance experience or level 3 long form training equivalent. Printed Flashform Intensive Manuals are available upon request for documenting workshop and future reference. Flashform is a “universal” approach to long form, drawing on all the major schools of thought. You learn to play fast and fluid, leaving your head behind to follow the fun and play from the heart. You develop ways to find heat, weight and gravity in any scene, develop editing-for-game and editing-for-narrative techniques, drive stories through scenes, play Game with and in scenes, and refresh inspirations from inside the show, making the audience feel like they’re playing along with you. You always leave the show feeling ready to play more, with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
