Follow Your Face

If eyes are the window to your soul, then the face is the whooooooole house!!! We walk onstage for a scene, we check in with our partner, start doing object work then dialogue starts and a minute or two later you finally figured out who you are in this scene. It often takes too long to project this other non-us character because our mind tells us that our physical choices need to match up with our perception of who we think our character truly is. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THAT WAY!!! Our faces and our bodies are modes of communication and in this workshop we will utilize our entire vocal apparatus! This workshop will be facially focused, with some additional emphasis on whole body movement and how being conscious of and utilizing these tools will take your improv work to the next level. Please come in clothes that you will be comfortable moving in!
