Move! Move! Move!

We've all seen it. We've all done it. Talking without object work or physical motion. But people come to watch you, not listen to a podcast. What are you doing on stage that is interesting? Can it be added as a sub-game for comedy? Are you paying off expectations of your physical choices? If you are a body guard, will you jump in front of the person and take a bullet? If you are baking a pie, will you open the door of the oven. Will your scene partner burn themselves? Physical movement can ground a scene, add realism, or even buy you time to settle into character! This workshop will give you a few tools to help identify opportunities for motion, both small and large. We will drill how to set each other up for success and how to utilize stage picture and object work.
