Social Justice Workshop

If you've felt hopeless because of the news lately, you're not alone. But what if the act of improv could make you feel empowered about all that's going on in the world? In this workshop, we don't shy away from the taboo or tough topics. Instead, we use social justice improv to punch up the marginalized and punch down on the unjust people or structures in power. In this workshop, we'll use real taboo topics and stories from the news as a way to find and create strong, premise-based game, play convincing characters, and above all, give people some hope through our favorite form of comedy: improv.
