"You Can't Do That in Improv!"

Improv has, since nearly the very beginning, been built on what you "cannot" or at least "should not" do: don't be strangers, don't have transactions, don't interrupt initiations, but one "cannot" deny that these scenes happen anyway. Our everyday lives are built around improv no-nos, so it's no surprise that they routinely show up in our craft. Let's not avoid these problems, let's dive right into them, tackling the Great Taboos head on. Participants will learn why we typically avoid them, what challenges exist around them, and what simple pleasures can be discovered in Improv Vice.
