Soundtrack Masterclass: How to Do Improv vs Music

The Soundtrack is a format wherein scenes are interspersed with periodic bursts of random music in between. This format can be combined with many other structures or narrative forms to create a wholly unique improv experience. In this class, we will discover paths to Soundtrack success, as well as learning tips and tricks, and avoiding regular pitfalls. And of course, we will hear a bunch of good tunes while we're at it. Helpful for performers and techs alike! --- Bryan Fernando has been doing improv in and around the Pacific Northwest for the last 15 years, running lights & sound for the last 12, and performing the Soundtrack exclusively for the last 6. His solo show Bryan vs Music has taken him to fests as near as Seattle and as far as Scandinavia. He was once on Portlandia for a tenth of a second.
