About Our Training Program
The Impro Theatre School is the home of Narrative Improv in Los Angeles. We focus on teaching artful storytelling. We value truth in the moment and allow comedy to arise out of it.
The Impro Theatre School offers a wide variety of classes that set students up for success in performing narrative improv. Our instructors provide a welcome, safe place for students of every age, background, and profession to discover the joys of improv.

Impro Theatre is an Unscripted Repertory Company that has brought innovative, unscripted theatre to Los Angeles and the world. The company’s goal is to take core narrative and style elements of great playwrights and writers, and create a new play using no more than the essence of an author’s work and an audience suggestion. Most recently, unscripted explorations of great literary figures has included Shakespeare, Dickens, Stephen Sondheim, and Tennessee Williams. Our venue the Impro Studio presents shows ranging from Theatresports to narrative genre productions including Chekhov, Twilight Zone, Horror, and Dorothy Parker UnScripted.
